Transistor Based Security Code Lock

Complete Video Guide To Make This Circuit

Components Required
  • Battery
  • 2N2222
  • Polarised capacitors
  • Resistors
  • 1n4007
  • Switches
  • Relay 6V,200ohm
How This Circuit Works:
The main component of this circuit is a transistor 2N2222. The second main component is relay.A free wheeling diode of 1N4007 is also used .A 12V battery is used to operate this circuit. There two rows of switches.Upper switches are serially connected while lower row of switches are connected in parallel. When all upper switches are on and lower switches are off the relay will be ON.In any other condition the relay will be off( upper off, lower on).We can alter  the position of the switches to make a code so when we ON specific switches the relay will be on and vice versa. So there is a very simple circuit of Code Lock using 2N2222.

Steps To Make the Circuit On Proteus:

Open Proteus professional.exe and pick components from pick devices.

Place all the components on the screen as shown in upper picture and give them Specify values according to the picture.

Connect one component with the other as per diagram.Click on one edge
Of the first component and then click on the others edge , a wire will connect Both.

Diagnose each component value and connection.

Play the circuit if circuit works then congrats J otherwise repeat step 4.

Take a print out of the circuit for your presentation

Diagnostics:
Remove the bridge, transformer and AC source.Just put 12V DC battery.
Use the generic relay of 12V and then change its properties to 6V in Proteus.
