Components Required
  • Rectified DC Voltage input
  • LM317L
  • BC548
  • Variable resistor
  • Polarized capacitors
  • Resistors
  • DC Voltmeter
How This Circuit Works:
The main components of this circuit are LM317 which is adjustable output positive voltage regulator and BC548 which is low power bipolar transistor. With the help of LM317 we obtain our desireable output.Rectified DC voltage input is applied to the circuit on the input side of LM317 and on the output side we obtain our output voltage.With the help of voltmeter we can measure the output voltage ,we can varry the output voltage with the help of variable resistor. A battery to be chareged is placed at the output terminals where voltmeter is connected.

Steps To Make the Circuit On Proteus:




Open Proteus professional.exe and pick components from pick devices.



Place all the components on the screen as shown in upper picture and give them Specify values according to the picture.




Connect one component with the other as per diagram.Click on one edge
Of the first component and then click on the others edge , a wire will connect Both.


Diagnose each component value and connection.


Play the circuit if circuit works then congrats J otherwise repeat step 4.




Take a print out of the circuit for your presentation
