Introduction:
At this point I think you have installed the proteus software. I will give u a brief introduction how to use it.
Proteus is a software related to electronics, with the help of this software you can make your electronics projects very easily and then you can convert it into PCB in softcopy. And later off course you can print it and make a PCB in hard copy.

Proteus Tour
First of all you have to go to start menu and then proteus professional and have to select ISIS Professional.exe file. The Window will open which will looks like picture underneath. The window has 3 main parts which are shown in the figure Below.
1. In editing window we can make different circuits and can modify them if it already prepared.
2. In overview window we can view the circuit from far or we can say it we are watching it as a whole
3. This is object selector in which we can select different components for making circuit.
Buttons OVERVIEW
There are different buttons for different purposes. I will tell you about some which are frequently in use:
1. With the help of this button we can zoom in or out and we can focus on a specific portion.
Gate like button is a component selector. By choosing it we can select different components.

With the help of ARES button we can make the PCB diagram of the circuit.Left most is design explorer.

5.With the help of P button we can select different components from the gallery.
Components Gallery
Component gallery has a many components which are categorized into shells according to their value type and manufacturer companies.
Component Gallery looks like this
In up leftmost corner in the keyword section we can write component name .it will automatically popup. Or we can select it from category box. There are different components in the category section like capacitors analog ics ,resistors ,diodes,inductors,microprocessor IC’s and so much more…
If we select a component then there is a sub category for our choice we can select a component of our choice more precisely, and there are different manufacturers which make them .so if we want to select a component of Maplin we can choose it from there.
For example if we want to make a little project of led and cell. Then we will select cell resistor and led and will double click the component. It will pop up in the outer box.
How to Make the Circuit:
We will select the components in left box and will right click on the editing screen the component will be placed on the screen. By this way we will place all the components on the screen. We can make connections between them by using wire. For connecting wires between them we will click on the edge of the component and will click on the other components end, in this way the component will get attached.
Changing Properties of the Components
By selecting the component and right clicking on it we will get a box like this
By clicking on the edit properties we can change the properties of the components.
For example I have selected a resistor and opened its properties for changing its value the box will open like this
If we want to change the value of the resistor from 4k7 to 1k then will delete the previous value in the component value box and will add new value. If we want to change the name of the resistor we can change it in the component reference box.
After completion of the circuit
After completion of the circuit we will save the schematic and then will test it by running the programme with the help of these buttons. We also stop simulation by stop button.
We can take print out of our circuit schematic later.
